BERMUDA ANGLERS CLUB wins 45th International Light Tackle Tournament
The 45th Bermuda Anglers Club ILTT was held June 6 -12. Theteam had two new members, Eric Hirschberg and Mark
Henneberger but team captain David Skinner was part of the
2007 BAC team that also won the tournament.
6, 3-person teams fished the 4-day tournament with 6 of the
anglers coming from the Bahamas and 2 from the US.
The team qualifies to fish the IGFA Offshore Tournament to be held May 8-13, 2011 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
A total of 125 blackfin tuna were released along with 20 yellowfin. 38
wahoo were caught, 4 yellowfin tuna, 3 barracuda, 2 blackfin, 2 almaco
jack, 1 skip jack and 1 dolphin.
First time in the tournament and Eric Hirschberg takes top honours. He caught 23 fish for a total of 3,641 points. He was presented with a watch
donated by H S & J E Crisson Jewellers.
