The winning team caught and released three white marlin, the only billfish to be caught during this year's tournament.  the second and third place boats, Reel Quick and Indemnity, relied on one of two weighed school bluefin tuna and multiple shark releases for their standings.

While the weather was very cooperative for fishing this year the warm water eddy that gave us good fishing for southern pelagics over the past month has dissipated, resulting in poor offshore fishing i this region during what normally is our best fishing time period.
