 Early Entry Deadline is Near

The thirteenth season of The Presidential Challenge of Central America Conservation Series will kick off March 20th in Puerto Carrillo, Costa Rica.  The azure waters of the Pacific off the coast of Carrillo hold an abundant amount of sailfish and marlin just waiting for the arrival of our anglers.  Competition begins for the Costa del Mar Grand Champion Team and the Eagle Claw Grand Champion Angler.  Teams and individual anglers must fish in three out of the five PCCA events to qualify for the Championship Points.  Fifty bonus points will be added per tournament fished.  The Champions will be crowned at the final PCCA event in Guatemala next November.
Come join us for this exciting sport fishing event and support conservation at the same time.  Proceeds from the 2009 Presidential Challenge of Costa Rica will once again benefit The Billfish Foundation and their conservation work in this country.  Great steps have been taken over the past year. The momentum is moving forward with great speed but it takes the support of the fishing community to impress on the government the importance of the conservation of billfish to tourism.
Join us on March 19, 2009, at the Villas Playa Samara for our Rules Meeting and gala Kick Off Dinner.  This tropical setting is the perfect venue to put you in the Tico mood.  Fishing will begin March 20th out of the Puerto Carrillo Anchorage.  The Schedule of Events is listed below.
The Tournament offers charter boat and room packages. Please see our web site, www.preschallenge.com, for entry form and travel details.
EARLY ENTRY FEE PER TEAM:  $2,800.00 per team if paid prior to February 1, 2009

WELCOME ABOARD TO REACTOR WATCHES

The PCCA is proud to announce that the 2009 Official Time Piece is Reactor Watches.  Tournament time will be kept on a Reactor Watch by the scorekeeper at each event.  Please take a look at their web page, www.reactorwatch.com, to see the many styles of watches offered and for information on their incredible design.

"Our claim to be the Best Built Performance Sport Watch isn't just marketing hype. Reactor was conceived from day one to design out any weakness and improve any feature possible. The result of this "genetic engineering" is the Reactor DNA, a set of features that is shared by every Reactor Watch. This DNA forms the core of a product that will outlast and outperform every other watch you have ever owned. In 2003 we set out on a mission to design a line of sport watches that would exceed the demands of the action sports athlete, while creating a style uniquely different from the norm. In short, we wanted to push well beyond what the watch industry had to offer and create a product that would truly set a new standard. Bold components, uncompromising quality and unconventional styling have combined to create REACTOR.

REACTOR watches are designed to meet, or exceed, demanding Swiss standards. Cases are forged from solid stainless steel. Multiple O-ring seals and water-tight screw-down crowns are used throughout. To ensure that REACTOR could survive the decidedly non-sedentary lifestyle of our target customer, we developed new standards. Swiss sapphire crystals gave way to the more impact-resistant hardened mineral glass. The delicate precision of a Swiss movement gave way to the robust accuracy of Japanese quartz. An entirely new case-to-band fastening system was devised, to keep these watches firmly in place during the worst unplanned events. REACTOR truly represents the best of what the world of watches has to offer.

As we begin this journey, we know that a brand cannot flourish in today's marketplace without the loyalty of its customers. Our total dedication and commitment to service begins with the unprecedented level of support we will offer our select group of retail accounts, and radiates down by exceeding the expectations of our end consumers. In short, we will do whatever it takes to make all our customers "raving fans.""
