The IGFA Offshore World Championship will require digital photographs or video for verification of all billfish releases. Please bring all your cameras, accessories, connectors, new batteries and owner's manual to the registration check-in Nov 8. Please read the owner's manual and make sure you understand how to set the time and date and operate your cameras prior to arriving in Cabo. It is much easier to get the release images with a video camera.
On Nov. 8, we would like you to bring all your release cameras, accessories and connectors to the registration check-in table. We will record the models, make notes of the connecting cables and offer assistance. Your team will be required to take a picture or video of your boat each day prior to going fishing. During the tournament fishing days, please make sure you have all the accessories and connectors with the camera when you come to the release-photo check-in area. Some of the footage and pictures will be used in our awards banquet slide show and video, so make sure to let us know about any great action shots or fun photos of the team.
We look forward to seeing you in Cabo.
All the best,
Dan Jacobs
