With so many international teams competing from around the globe, the IGFA Offshore World Championship is often considered the “Olympics” of big-game fishing.  Our goal is to maintain that tradition with hopes of seeing all qualifying tournaments representing their country this May in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. 

With that said, the tournament committee has an exciting announcement designed to maximize participation and reward teams from qualifying tournaments.  New for 2010, if the first place team is unable to attend in the championship, their invitation will then be offered to the runner-up.  In the event neither the first place winner nor the runner-up can attend, we will further extend the invitation to the second runner-up.
